- SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket will launch the Polaris Dawn mission from Florida no earlier than August 26th. - Dragon and the Polaris Dawn crew will spend up to five days in orbit. - The mission will conduct scientific research and test new technologies for future human spaceflight.

Mission Objectives

- Conduct scientific research on the effects of space on the human body. - Test new technologies for future human spaceflight, including a new spacesuit and a new spacecraft docking system. - Raise awareness of the importance of space exploration.
