Kysre Gondrezick: A Rising Star in the WNBA

Early Life and Career

Kysre Rae Gondrezick was born on July 27, 1997, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. She began playing basketball at a young age and quickly emerged as a talented prospect. Gondrezick attended Benton Harbor High School, where she led her team to three consecutive state championships.

After graduating from high school, Gondrezick attended the University of West Virginia. During her collegiate career, she established herself as one of the most prolific scorers and all-around players in the country. She was a two-time All-American and the Big 12 Player of the Year in 2019.

WNBA Career

In 2019, Gondrezick was drafted fourth overall by the Indiana Fever. She made an immediate impact on the team, averaging 16.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game during her rookie season. However, in 2020, Gondrezick announced that she was stepping away from the WNBA for mental health reasons.

After taking a break from basketball, Gondrezick returned to the WNBA in 2022 and signed with the Chicago Sky. She has continued to showcase her exceptional skills, helping the Sky reach the WNBA Finals in 2022.
